First things first. You may want to work on immediate painful feelings or specific challenges that are happening right now. These may have started very recently, or they have been going on for a long time. Our work may use a variety of strategies that can quickly improve the way you feel or how you are coping. After working on these immediate challenges or painful memories, you may choose to stop or move on to the deeper work of long-term healing.
Insight-oriented psychotherapy. Our early relationships play important roles in who we become as adults. As we live our lives, there are patterns to our relationships and our actions. Insight into where these patterns and reactions started can open the door to change. Through an insight-oriented approach to therapy, we will work together to understand your life experiences and relationships and then explore how each of these impacts who you are today. Developing a greater self-awareness can free you to approach your life in a whole new way.
